Nina is a writer from Australia, who is currently building her own home and planting a large organic and permaculture garden.

Nina loves gardening for many reasons, and is planting a mix of fruits, vegetables, herbs, cactus, and native rainforest plants. Particularly interested in organic, bio-dynamic, and permaculture gardening; as well as the regeneration of native rainforest.

Nina is growing a wide range of herbs in the garden. She finds herbal remedies to be wonderfully effective and beneficial to her health. Try using fresh herbs and other plants from the garden for a natural skin care regime.

Nina has planted a habitat garden to help the local wildlife. As a trained and experienced Wildlife Carer, Nina has a great interest in preserving wildlife habitat and ending eco-system destruction. Nina is a specialist carer of Flying-Foxes and Microbats, and likes to educate people on the role of these bats in Australia's ecosystems. Bats are very important to our environment.

Currently a member of a local Landcare Group, which works to restore native rainforest, and also runs a community garden. The health of our environment is very important to Nina and she writes a great deal on environmental issues. Hobbies include weaving with local fibres and recycled clothes, reading and cooking delicious food! Keep watch for upcoming book reviews and awesome recipes to indulge the taste buds.
